But it also means incorporating safety and ease of use as standard features of each Tiger Crane. Two of those key features, Auto II Speed Control and Sequential Boom Cylinders, work together to help you perform better.
Auto II Speed Control
Auto II Speed, our automatic load-sensing speed control, comes standard on all full-hydraulic Tiger Crane models. The Auto II Speed system is designed to maximize safety, precision, and operator confidence during crane operation. When a load is detected, Auto II Speed automatically reduces the maximum operating speed on all boom functions—without requiring manual input from the operator nor sacrificing proportional control.
By reducing the loaded maximum boom speed by 50%, Auto II Speed makes proportional controls less sensitive, allowing for smoother, more precise movements when maneuvering a load. When the load is removed from the hook, 100% proportional speed resumes making set up and tear down more efficient.
Unlike competing systems that require operators to manually engage speed-limiting functions, Auto II Speed delivers seamless, automatic protection—ensuring safer, more controlled performance with every lift.
Sequenced Extension Cylinders – Precision in Every Lift
All Tiger Cranes are equipped with sequential boom measurements, designed to improve accuracy when operating the crane. Each boom extension is clearly marked with incremental measurement indicators, and the boom cylinders extend and nest in sequence, giving operators a quick visual reference of the current extension length.
This built-in feature makes it easy to match extension measurements to load and stability charts, helping operators make informed, safe lifting decisions in real time. By simplifying boom position awareness, Tiger Cranes enhance efficiency, reduce guesswork, and ensure precise control on every job.
