When it comes to service bodies, smart storage is always top of mind. That’s why Service Trucks International designed the 1540 crane body with a feature that sets it apart: a full transverse compartment tucked just behind the cab.

The tunnel-like cabinet, accessible from both sides of the truck, pumps up the storage from 15″ to 75″ to accommodate larger tools and accessories. There’s space for two 28-inch drawer packs set back-to-back, creating an impressive 68.5 cubic feet of organized storage. The transverse cabinet can also accommodates the mounting of an air compressor.

The 1540 body is compatible with the 2081E Tiger Crane, a compact electric crane with a 2,000-lb lift capacity.

While storage is the 1540’s standout feature, the rest of the body is no less impressive. Built specifically for a 10.5k GVWR single rear wheel chassis, the 1540 is the smallest and lightest-duty crane body in STI’s lineup. • Compartment pressurization to keep your tools and equipment clean and dry.

• Stainless steel wrap-around chip guard on front of cabinet, full undercoating, and a 3-step PPG Delfleet Polyurethane finish, inside and out.
